My art has been separated into five different galleries. The first gallery features some of my favorite locations, here in las cruces and in other places around the world. The second gallery contains paintings that feature women, mostly, though there is an occasional man. Nothing personal, but I know a woman’s body better than a man’s. The third gallery features animals – one of my absolute favorite things in the world! I’ve started a series of paintings featuring mother and baby pairs from the animal kingdom. I hope to have more male animals represented as I go along, especially since there are several instances in the animal kingdom in which the male parent is the primary care-giver.
The fourth gallery contains flowers and other plants. I’ve got a pale green thumb and sometimes it’s more satisfying to paint the blooms that the hot desert makes so difficult to grow.
There’s a fifth gallery – this is the one we’ll call “other”. This gallery contains some abstract paintings and will be the home for any paintings that don’t fit neatly into one of the other four categories.
